The KORE ReHub Repair Trailer is expanding into a full Repair Village at this year’s ORCBC Conference, bringing together repair experts, outdoor industry partners, and community organizations committed to keeping outdoor gear in use and out of the landfill.

Launching at the conference on May 21–22, the KORE ReHub Tour will offer free repairs for jackets, tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, wetsuits, and other soft goods. Conference attendees are encouraged to bring clean gear items for repair assessment and drop-off throughout the event.

Run by the Kootenay Outdoor Recreation Enterprise (KORE), the mobile repair trailer is equipped with industrial sewing machines, heat welders, and specialized repair equipment, with professional technicians on hand throughout the conference.

This year, KORE ReHub is partnering with the Surfrider Foundation’s ReSurf Mobile Repair team and Kamloops-based Six Seasons Hiking Apparel Co. to expand the Repair Village experience.

ReSurf Mobile Wetsuit Repair Trailer

ReSurf’s mobile wetsuit repair trailer will be touring B.C. throughout summer 2026, providing wetsuit repairs across the province. The trailer will join KORE’s ReHub trailer at the ORCBC Conference for the first stop of the season.

Attendees can bring clean, dry wetsuits for repair assessment. Approved repairs will either be completed onsite or taken back to ReSurf HQ, repaired, and mailed back within two weeks.

ReSurf will also be accepting surf wetsuit recycling donations during the conference. Help keep wetsuits out of our landfills!

Six Seasons Hiking Apparel Co.

KORE members and Kamloops locals Six Seasons Hiking Apparel Co. will bring their pop-up shop to the Repair Village while also supporting repairs through the ReHub Repair Trailer.

Their performance hiking apparel is designed in Kamloops and made in Canada.

Repair Survey & Giveaway

Conference attendees are also invited to participate in the KORE ReHub repair survey, which is open to everyone, whether or not you bring gear for repair.

All survey participants will be entered for a chance to win a Durston X-Dome 2 tent, valued at $632.

Survey promotion and intake QR codes will be featured during conference breakfasts, breaks, pre-session slides, at the intake tent, and at the vendor table throughout the event.
