We are the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC.

Outdoor recreation is essential to life in B.C. It supports our health, strengthens communities and local economies, and connects people with the lands and waters around them.

ORCBC works across the province to:

  • Advocate for public investment, access and better recreation planning.

  • Bring organizations and partners together to address shared challenges and opportunities.

  • Support volunteer-led groups with tools, research, funding information and practical resources.

  • Promote responsible recreation, stewardship and inclusion.

  • Build the case for outdoor recreation as essential to B.C.’s health, economy, communities and environment.
