We speak up for the outdoor places where we live and play
We are the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC.
Outdoor recreation is essential to life in B.C. It supports our health, strengthens communities and local economies, and connects people with the lands and waters around us.
ORCBC works with recreation organizations, Indigenous communities, governments, land managers and other partners to strengthen outdoor recreation across the province.
We:
Advocate for better access, planning and public investment.
Bring partners together to address shared challenges.
Provide research, tools, funding and practical support to move local ideas forward.
Promote responsible recreation, stewardship and inclusion.
Demonstrate how outdoor recreation supports health, quality of life and resilient communities.
