Give back to the trails that give us so much.

British Columbia’s trails connect us to nature, community, and adventure, but they don’t take care of themselves.

Trails are free to use in most parts of the province, but not free to maintain. That’s where Bucks for BC Trails comes in. Your donation supports the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC’s work to help volunteer-run and community-based groups across the province protect and steward our trail systems.

Whether it’s hiking, biking, paddling, skiing, birdwatching or riding, if you’ve spent time on a BC trail, you’ve likely benefited from the work of local volunteers. Bucks for BC Trails helps make their work possible. Help us to raise $10,000 by June 15th for BC Trails.

Where your money goes

Your donation helps us:

  • Provide micro-grants for local groups organizing trail maintenance and clean-up days

  • Support volunteer training, signage, and safety equipment

  • Promote responsible recreation and community-led stewardship

  • Share tools, templates, and resources to help recreation groups build capacity

  • Advocate for public access and sustainable outdoor recreation

We’re not promising to fund every shovel or board, but every dollar helps us lift up local efforts across BC.
