We are planning on hosting a medicine walk with a Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw knowledge carrier in Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) this summer. The walk will focus on our sharing knowledge of the the local plant kin with the community including their traditional name in the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh sníchim, their medicinal uses, respectful harvesting practices, and building relations with the land and one another.
Our programs are for First Nations, Inuit, and Metis living in the-to-sky corridor and are free to attend. The date is TBD depending on availability of the knowledge carrier, but we are narrowing down some dates.
