Invite friends, families, and community members to try paddling in a dragon boat with guidance from the Richmond Dragon Boat Society youth team.
Waterways Appreciation Talk: A short talk on the importance of BC rivers, possibly with a guest speaker (e.g., local environmental group or Indigenous representative).
Riverbank Cleanup: Light cleanup along the shoreline before or after paddling.
Picnic & Social Time: Encourage participants to bring lunch and enjoy the riverside together.
