In celebration of our rivers and streams around the province and more locally, in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, the 33rd Annual Ridge Meadows Rivers Day is set for Sunday 27th September from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in ALLCO Park. I would like to invite you to be an exhibitor at this fun-filled family day event and special celebration.
BC Rivers Day is a day celebrated across the province, and since 2005, across the world by people and organizations raising public awareness of rivers and the many benefits they provide to us all.
This year’s event promises to be filled with lots of fun and interactive environmental displays. The local community is invited to visit various exhibitor booths, watch live performances, engage in fun activities for children and go on a forest or riverside walk.
This event provides a wonderful opportunity to learn about the Alouette Watershed and its importance within the community. It’s also an excellent way for environmentally-minded organizations to promote themselves while supporting a great cause.
