About the event

We are thrilled to be hosting our fifth annual Alberni Valley Rivers Day event! Rivers Day celebrates and builds public awareness for BC’s waterways, and encourages stewardship of all rivers.

This family friendly, free, community event is being held at both the Beaver Creek Community Hall, and Stamp Falls Provincial Park. There will be many educational games, activities, salmon dissections, and more at this event, as well as concession.
Parking will be in the ball field by Beaver Creek Community Hall, and there will be a shuttle running back and forth to Stamp Falls park for the duration of the event.

Learn about our local salmon migration, watersheds, forests, wildlife and how we rely on waterways for our communities. Jerry the Moose is set to join us again this year!
