Lead organization: Association of Caledonia Trailbuilders (ACT)
ACT will host a community trail stewardship work day on BC Trails Day, June 6, 2026, at the Tabor Mountain Recreation Trails network in Prince George, BC. Volunteers will gather at the main staging area on Grovbern Road to carry out trail clearing and maintenance work — removing downed trees, clearing debris, and preparing the trail network for the summer season.
The Tabor Mountain trail network serves mountain bikers, hikers, dog walkers, runners, and adaptive users across Prince George and the broader Northern BC region. ACT operates under a formal partnership agreement with Recreation Sites and Trails BC (RSTBC) and has raised over $600,000 in grants since 2017 to build and maintain the network — Northern BC's largest multi-use mountain bike park.
This event will bring together approximately 20 volunteers in a hands-on stewardship day that connects the community to the trails they use year-round.
