Otter Point Bridge Replacement

GRANT: $10,000

Williams Lake Field Naturalists / Scout Island Nature Centre to replace the decaying Otter Point Bridge with a combination steel and wood structure that will maintain the beauty of the wooden aesthetic but increase the lifespan of the bridge from 15 years (for a wooden structure) to 50 years. At the same time, the bridge and the trail leading to and from the bridge to the Otter Point boardwalk will become wheelchair accessible.
