Lead organization: Squamish Off-Road Cycling Association
We’ll be putting in the work to get 19th Hole and Free the Speedos ready for the OneUp X SORCA DH race happening on June 14th! Thank you to OneUp Components for hosting this dig day on the trails.
Further details will be available closer to the event; keep an eye on SORCA’s (@squamishbikes) channels, newsletter, or news page on our website for the meeting location and registration details.
* To attend you must have a SORCA membership.
* Beginners welcome - You don’t need to be an experienced trail builder or rider!
* Each trail day has at least one Lead Builder who will explain what to do and direct the group's efforts (It is also a good time to meet and learn from diverse trail builders in our community!)
* Trail days last 3-5 hours.
* All tools provided.
WHAT TO BRING
* Water and a snack! Digging may make you hungry.
* Clothes you aren’t worried about getting dirty.
* Layers so you are cool while working, and warm while taking a break.
* Garden or riding gloves.
* Durable, closed toe shoes or boots.
* Bug spray and rain gear depending on the weather (we work in almost all conditions)
* Light and a cell phone for emergencies.
* While we love our four-legged friends, we do ask that dogs stay home for this day. This is for the safety and well-being of everyone. Thank you for your understanding!
This event is free to attend, but a SORCA membership is required!
