Clean-up at the Confluence

  • Barbara Ann Park 83 Avenue Grand Forks, BC, V0H 1H0 Canada (map)

Lead organization: Grand Forks Community Trails Society

In honour of B.C. Rivers Day, our Scenic Sunday hike will wander the gravel trail along the Granby River. Starting at Barbara Ann Park, we will follow Riverside Trail to the confluence of the Granby and Kettle Rivers, cleaning up litter along the way.

Riverside Trail is an easy trail with some uneven terrain. At the confluence, we will have a gathering to celebrate the waters that support recreation and our way of life in Grand Forks.

Please bring water, bug spray, sun protection and walking aids as needed. Limited supplies will be provided for our clean-up efforts. Please bring a garbage bag and gloves if you are able.

Scenic Sunday hikes are every Sunday from June through September. Details are posted to the Grand Forks Community Trails Facebook group prior to each hike.
