Building an Engaged and Connected Stewardship Network

GRANT: $10,000

BC Marine Trails Network Association is ‘Shifting the Recreational Culture’ by empowering coastal recreationists with tools for positive environmental impact. Through our 3-pillar approach – First Nations Engagement, Trails Development, and Environmental Stewardship – we provide hands-on tools and collaborative feedback loops with recreation partners. Now that our Site Condition Reports (SCRs) are an interactive layer on our BCMT map, and we have several strategic partnerships for tackling marine debris, we are excited about scaling an engaged and connected stewardship network, a collaborative community-led model for actively caring for the coast.
