Ladies come join us for a special edition of Friday’s Hike Club as we celebrate our 1st Anniversary by giving back to our local trails! We’re heading back to the beautiful Mundy Park in Coquitlam for a morning of community, conservation, and celebration.

We believe in leaving the trails better than we found them. To mark one year of trekking together, we’re hosting a Trail Cleanup Stroll. We’ll wander the scenic, forested paths of Mundy Park, picking up litter along the way to keep our green spaces pristine. Once the work is done, it’s time to celebrate!
For those hearing about Friday’s HCS for the first time: Welcome! We are a non-profit organization on a mission to get women and femme-folk outdoors. We host hikes every Friday, plus the occasional monthly weekend adventure, starting between 9:00 and 10:00 AM. Our trails span everywhere from Squamish to Hope, BC!

What’s Provided: We got the cleaning supplies, we will provide Latex gloves, trash bags, recycling bags, and hand sanitizer!

Please Bring:
Comfortable walking shoes or hikers
Weather-appropriate clothing (we hike rain or shine!)
Your own water bottle
Snackies if you want some!

The Itinerary:

We meet-up: Brief intro and birthday appreciation at the trailhead.

The Stroll and Clean: We will take a relaxed loop through the park, we will provide the bags and you can provide the eagle eyes for any stray litter!

The Celebration: We’ll finish back at the picnic area for a community lunch!

Snacks & Refreshments: Please bring some if you’d like, we are trying to get some sponsors (we will have updates in our community chat)

The Raffle: Stick around for a chance to win some fun club swag and treats!
