Celebrate BC Trails Day and Make a Difference Week by giving back to the trails we love! The East Kootenay Invasive Species Council is teaming up with the Fernie Trails Society to tackle invasive plants in the Fernie area.

We'll kick things off at the Aquatic Centre, carpool out to the site, and provide groups with photo references to help ID target species.

Get ready for a fun intro session covering common local invasives, their “red flags,” and best management practices - plus a warm-up with our "From Here or Away?" and Red Flag games!
