This event is to highlight the One Spot Trail - North in our neighbourhood.
This trail is part of the Comox Valley Regional District trail system that is based on an old logging road train track. The section in our neighbourhood is not contiguous to the rest of the trail and dead ends.
Highlighting this portion of the trail by holding a neighbourhood walk/hike over the 4 km available now will bring attention to where the trail could be connected to the other sections. Trail connectivity in our rural area is of great important for walkers, hikers, cyclists, and equestrians.
