Join the Friends of Garibaldi Park Society a clean up of the Cheakamus Lake trail. In just a few kilometers, we'll be cleaning up trash, trimming branches, moving smaller logs and recording any major damage for our friendly BC Parks rangers. We'll stop for lunch at the lake (first campground) before hiking out.

Minimum age 18 years due to insurance reasons.

ELEVATION GAIN: minimal

TIME NEEDED: 3-5 hours

BOOK RATING: Easy to moderate

MEETING TIME AND LOCATION: 9.30 am Cheakamus Lake trailhead parking lot, by the info sign. You have to provide your own transportation to trailhead as Friends of Garibaldi is not able to arrange for carpooling or rideshare.

LATEST RETURN TIME: 3 pm back at the cars. For safety reasons BC Parks requires trail watch volunteers to hike out together.
