Happy National Volunteer Week

Happy National Volunteer Week BC ! And thank you to everyone who puts their time, effort, heart and soul into ensuring people in British Columbia have access to meaningful outdoor recreation opportunities.

Whether you know it or not, the outdoor spaces and activities you love rely on dedicated volunteers. Volunteers clean trails, maintain amenities, represent your interests to government, apply for grants, attend meetings, organize events, post on social media, advocate for accessibility, learn about local issues, educate others, create signs, build bridges (literally and figuratively), and so much more.

This week, show your appreciation to an outdoor group by volunteering your time or services, sharing their messages, making a monetary gift, or by joining as a member.
